Magan Gurau, 78, belonging to indigenous Tharu community, have more than four decades long histry of practicing indigenous knowledge especially as bone setter. His neighbors say, “people come here in a doko (hand-made bamboo basket used for carrying things and sick people in rural areas) and returns even without a stick! He practices both Jhar-fuk and herbal drug application (single plant or compound) that he collects from the forest nearby his resident.
