Bone setter

DSC02453Magan Gurau, 78, belonging to indigenous Tharu community, have more than four decades long histry of practicing indigenous knowledge especially as bone setter. His neighbors say, “people come here in a doko (hand-made bamboo basket used for carrying things and sick people in rural areas) and returns even without a stick! He practices both Jhar-fuk and herbal drug application (single plant or compound) that he collects from the forest nearby his resident.
